My Morning Jacket Are Giving Away Free Music!

My Morning Jacket have a new LP called "Circuital" coming out this spring, and to hype the release of their sixth album, Jim James and Co. will go the Kanye West "G.O.O.D. Friday" route and release one free download for the next six weeks. Don't get too excited, though, they're not doling out all fresh material: Five of the free tracks are culled from the band's recent residence at New York's Terminal 5, where My Morning Jacket played each of their full albums over the five-night stand.

"Butch Cassidy" from MMJ's debut "The Tennessee Fire" is available now, and live cuts from "At Dawn," "It Still Moves," "Z," and "Evil Urges" will follow over the next five Mondays. But the real prize comes on April 12th, when My Morning Jacket will deliver the first single off "Circuital" in fans' email in-boxes. Sign up now for the free tracks over at the official My Morning Jacket site.
