"I like loose women in tight clothes. Say I'm the bomb, bitch. Pyro," Tip raps on the chorus, which could be the only memorable portion of the entire track. "Pyro" just meanders, with Tip too rigid with his patented Southern delivery. You'd think T.I. was full of interesting stuff to say after his recent ordeals, but he's just rapping about his Benz again, and the subject matter on a whole is too dull to carry the monotonous beat for three minutes. Despite all that, T.I. really seems to like this song, one of 45 tracks he's already recorded 'Trouble Man'.
"I have this one record [titled] 'Pyro' that I'm proud of," T.I. told Billboard. "'Pyro' is a straight party record. It's nostalgic of those crazy nights, early mornings [but] just turned up." (Later in the Billboard interview, T.I. admits that, because of his recent legal troubles, he doesn't party much anymore.) It's like all that time in prison has erased T.I.'s memory of what a "straight party record" is: "Whatever You Like" and "What You Know," Tip's best tracks, were party records. "Pyro," meanwhile, would be a top three song on a mixtape, and not a club banger.
