See Madonna Apologize to, Then Re-Insult Hydrangeas

A lot of journalists have had to learn how to spell "hydrangea" in the past week since a video of Madonna proclaiming, "I absolutely loathe hydrangeas" at a press conference became the best thing ever. The singer's rep issued a statement affirming her client's right to dislike particular types of flowers, but only one thing could possibly make this obnoxious Madonna moment even more valuable -- some sort of acknowledgement via Madonna herself that this was indeed a historical event.

Today, the Queen obliged, uploading a 46-second silent-movie-style clip to YouTube titled "Madonna's love letter to hydrangeas" (via Gawker). She begins by apologizing to the wronged flower ("You have no idea how many nights I have lost thinking how I hurt you") and ends by just telling the truth.
