Thom Yorke Learns a Valuable Lesson About Dancing in Music Videos

Amplifier

In what could the fastest exploding Internet meme this side of Sad Keanu, Strutting Leo and Cigar Guy, Radiohead's interpretative dance video for "The King of Limbs" single "Lotus Flower" has provided music fans with hours of entertainment -- time probably better spent actually listening to "The King of Limbs" -- by editing the video so it looks like frontman Thom Yorke is dancing in time with very non-Radiohead-y music. The mash-up of Yorke's dance moves with Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" kicked off the meme -- appropriately titled Dancing Thom and the recipient of its own Tumblr -- and set the bar impossibly high for all others Dancing Thom memes to follow, but it seems there's no shortage of music people want to see Yorke dance to.

Thom getting down to Katy Perry? Got it. Thom dancing along with Techno Zombie? There too. Our favorites: Thom dancing to Aphex Twin's "Windowlicker," or keeping pace with Snap!'s "Rhythm Is a Dancer." If there's a lesson to be learned here, it's that Thom Yorke should never dance in a music video ever again. It only makes him the target of laughter.
