Just after midnight, probably right around when Radiohead were playing the final notes of "Street Spirit (Fade Out)," T.I. walked out the front doors of an Atlanta halfway house as a free man after completing his 11-month prison sentence. This time, there was no luxury party bus to whisk him away, no entourage members or business managers or VH1 producers to greet him at the exit. He simply stepped into a chauffeured SUV alone and rejoined society, TMZ reports.

It won't be long before Tip explodes back into the music scene: According to MTV, T.I.'s next single, a collaboration with producer DJ Drama and rapper Big K.R.I.T., is already ready to go. The track was actually supposed to arrive this past Monday, but they probably decided to save it until T.I. was free. Now you'll have something to listen to while you read Tip's first novel.
