The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed who will be on hand to honor this year's class of inductees on March 14th at New York's Waldorf-Astoria: In a pairing that unites two of The Amp's all-time favorites, Neil Young will induct his longtime friend, Tom Waits, Rolling Stone reports. As per Rock Hall tradition, we can expect Young to perform a couple of Waits' songs -- possibly even with Waits -- so we're already salivating at the thought of the two legends singing "Downtown Train" or "(Looking For) The Heart of Saturday Night" or "Town With No Cheer" together.

Paul Simon, a two-time inductee as both a solo artist and one-half of Simon & Garfunkel, will honor Neil Diamond, and Elton John will speak for his recent collaborator Leon Russell. The rest of the lineup includes Rob Zombie (for Alice Cooper), John Legend (for Dr. John), and Bette Midler (for Darlene Love). That means we're looking at one of those ceremony-ending all-star jams featuring Waits, Young, Simon, and Elton all onstage at the same time, which is a pretty must-see event. Thankfully, you can see it! Fuse will air the Rock Hall induction ceremony on March 20th. And, no, Kiss won't be there. Sadly, neither will the Beastie Boys.
