The album's first single, "We Are Young," was the first multimember-band song to debut at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 since 2001. It was also the only song to ever gain more than 300,000 downloads per week for seven weeks straight, totaling three million downloads. So, here's a look at some songs to know before fun. performs live for Yahoo! On the Road.
"All the Pretty Girls" -- This is the second single from fun.'s first album, "Aim and Ignite." This lighthearted pop song sounds the most like Ruess's first band, the Format.
"Some Nights Intro" -- This song really shows the vocal range of Ruess, who channels a little bit of Queen's Freddy Mercury in it.
"We Are Young" -- This is the anthem that launched fun.'s career and won the Grammy for song of the year. What really makes the song unique is that it draws from several genres, including power pop, indie, and alternative rock.
From Macklemore's "Thrift Shop" to the folksy "Ho Hey" by the Lumineers, Yahoo! On the Road has been filled with Billboard chart toppers. Rediscover these top hits by watching their live versions from Yahoo! On the Road.
John Legend John Legend performed his newest single, "Who Do We Think Are," from his upcoming album. The Salomé Chamber Orchestra gives a classical twist to this groovy song.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Watch Macklemore & Ryan Lewis bring a fun twist to the Billboard number one single "Thrift Shop" as they perform it live in Milwaukee. Fans crowd-surfed a fur coat to the stage for Macklemore to wear during the performance.
Fall Out Boy After taking a brief hiatus, the Fall Out Boy performance in Madison, Wisconsin, proves that nothing has changed with the live rendition of the band's new single, "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark."
It's rare that a band that started with a Craigslist ad has much success, but the Lumineers are the exception. In 2005, Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites began collaborating and playing gigs around New York. But the city's high cost of living drove them to pack their bags and move to Denver, Colorado. There, the two posted the fateful Craigslist advertisement that led them to Neyla Pekarek, who had been playing cello for weddings.
Since then, the band has been nominated for two Grammys, and their first single "Ho Hey" went platinum.
