Are you searing hot with a dollop of syrup? Or are you more on the frothy side with lots of whip?
We're talking coffee orders, naturally. Coffee-shop stops are a must when anyone goes on the road (as Yahoo! has with its spring concert lineup -- click here to find out how to catch the shows), so we got a little curious about what kinds of signals you give out when you order your freshly ground with Haribo peach gummy (yes, it's a thing).
Not All Black and Milky White The very notion of a coffeehouse is aspirational. In other words, what used to be a five-cent ritual at a diner has become a sign of middle-class affluence, here in the United States, and around the world. Ordering a coffee means you've arrived.
As Yahoo! On the Road trundles across America (and planning a hop, skip and jump to Europe) to pass out tickets to (a jampacked spring schedule of concerts), the crew has also been showing off new apps like Weather. Chances are, if you check it out, you'll see temperatures starting to climb — but the question is, will they be anything like last year's scorchers?
Last June, the Climate Prediction Center (CPC) head guru predicted to Yahoo! that higher-than-normal temperatures would come, thanks to a one-two punch from El Nino and La Nina. Sure enough, regions sweltered in the triple digits, airplanes sunk into melted runways, and wildfires broke out.
We love a frontiersman story—and in rap these days, instead of battling the wilderness, one's up against the all-powerful music label. So when Macklemore & Ryan Lewis got "Thrift Shop" and its defiant anti-consumerism message to Billboard's top slot without a major label in sight, no wonder they whooped it up on Facebook and even Funny or Die.
Summer concert season is hard work. You stand in line for tickets (did you try for yours for Yahoo! On the Road?), drive out to far-flung festivals and shows, camp out for the best tickets. With this kind of schedule, laundry is a distant luxury, and besides, you're trying to travel light — quarters for the laundromat are heavy.
Turns out grunge saves lives — at least, the life of your jeans. Overwashing wears them out, and the commonly accepted denim wisdom is that you can wear them several times. But what's several times? And how do you maintain that careful cultivation of your raw denim?

So you didn't score tickets for Yahoo! On the Road. Watching live-stream concerts on your iPhone may be the next best thing, but you may have noticed that your headsets aren't doing your music much justice. And these days, Dr. Dre has convinced the masses that they need to lay out anywhere between $200 to $1,000 for a set of headphones (a million, if you want yours diamond-encrusted) for seriously deep bass. But we understand, you may be prone to mutilating or losing your set, and, you're saving up for a bikini wax for the summer season.
