Kenny G, Framed

Exciting news, readers! Now that we're into December, the spirit of the season has gripped us like nobody's business! So — from now until the big day — we'll be featuring nothing but Xmas videos!

This week, we're happy to welcome talented saxophonist Kenny G and his wistful version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." The song, now a beloved classic, made its debut when Judy Garland sang it in the 1944 flick, Meet Me in St. Louis. Since then it's been covered by everyone from Frank Sinatra to Twisted Sister.

Kenny — his real name is Kenneth Goshdarnit — is, of course, the biggest-selling instrumentalist in the history of records. His very first album went gold, but his late '80s/early '90s stuff sold like hotcakes: 1992's Breathless went 12 times platinum. To put that in perspective, it's a lot of times!

We certainly hope you enjoy our spirited, seasonal captions. And please come back, all ye faithful, next week, when Boyz II Men bring even more holiday cheer to Framed!

1 — "No, really... what's your game, Claus?"

2 — Wow. It's just like everybody says. He blows.

3 — "Why, if this lost footage is to be believed, JFK was murdered by a two-year-old Barack Obama!"

4 — "We were all saddened by the Lou Reed/Metallica team-up, son."

5 — "This rare copy of Sperms of Endearment completes my collection!"

6 — Surely the Lord wouldn't allow "Rock" to get moidered!

7 — "No, I haven't seen Pee Wee, either. Quiet, it's starting."

8 — "Some of the sisters are eccentric, to be sure... but twisted? I think not!"

9 — "'What day is it today,' sir?," replied the boy. "Why, today is National Jump in a Puddle and Splash Your Friend Day. And a half-crown for the big, fine turkey in the butcher's window?"

10 — The Y! Music Christmas Movie has opened at last!

11 — "Mary! Mary! You finally bought a diaphragm?"

12 — "That's right, honey! Every time a bell rings, someone listens to Kenny G and hurls."
