One Direction (Part II ), Framed

When we last looked in at Framed, the guys in the British boy band One Direction were actively discussing the concept of "direction" and debating east versus west. It was riveting, enjoyable stuff, no doubt about it.

We liked it so much, in fact, that this week's Framed also features One Direction!

Seriously, is it any wonder people say that we're the best blog of all time?

We think not!

This week's video, "One Thing," was Direction's third single, and is, surprisingly, an uptempo teen pop song. There are never enough of those. It didn't overwhelm the charts, but, as a well-known rock critic, we have to say that these guys are really pretty good. Their songs are damn catchy. They seem to be having a good time. They're from Great Britain.

In short, they're the Rolling Stones.

9 — "Your blog needs super heroes who can super-inhale! It's an awesome, oxygen-robbing weapon that would corral super villains with great ease! Er, what's that?"

10 — "Pummeling my friend about the face only makes me love you more!"

11 — "Heck, guys, let's pummel more fans about the face."

12 — "We must leave you now, Earth, as the peoples of Proxima Centauri are bereft of quality boy bands! We promise to return with even less threatening songs!"
