Lyrical mastermind Chino XL explained a couple cool elements of his latest album, The RICANstruction: The Black Rosary, during an interview on Yahoo! Music’s The Aftermath webisode series.

The album has 35 songs, among them, “Kings,” a track with a verse from the late Big Pun, and “Little Man,” a record about bullying.

Chino said the album has 35 songs because he wanted to give his fans their money’s worth. He explained how he got the Big Pun verse and why it was difficult to follow the “Still Not A Player” MC. Chino also breaks down the meaning behind “Little Man,” an introspective song about the psyche of a kid who goes wild. “It’s just really important that we start to take a deeper look at what our children are doing,” he said.
