Soren Baker and I couldn't wait to dive into the new stories on this week's segment of The Aftermath, the best music discussion o the net.

This has been a good week for controversial West Coast-based hip-hop crew Odd Future. The group released its album, "The OF Tape Vol. 2," and made its television debut on the sketch comedy show, "Loiter Squad" that is produced by the team responsible for "Jackass."

Another new artist, Danny Brown, who appears on the latest cover of Fader magazine, receives nods for his release, "Radio Song." Thematically reminiscent of EPMD's 1990s hit "Crossover," "Radio Song" takes jabs those pushing hip-hop artists to make song for the airwaves.

The past few weeks have been a bit trying for two white female rappers, Kreayshawn and Izzy Azalea, who were accused, in separate incidences, of being racist. Kreayshawn's allegations came after offensive statements about Black people were posted on her Twitter page. Izzy came under fire for a line she rapped in her song "D.R.U.G.S." Both artists have maintained that the accusations were untrue.

Plus, belated birthday shout out to the rapper formerly known as Lil Bow Wow. He's now 25. Be sure to check out Machine Gun Kelly's "Half Naked And Almost Famous" EP. And let us know your thoughts on the criticisms Rihanna recently received from her minister.
