Rodney Jerkins and wife Joy Enriquez said their NUVO TV reality show House Of Joy is different from other unscripted programs. How so? "Positive, family content," Jerkins explained during the couple's recent interview with Yahoo! Music's The Aftermath.

Though Rodney is known for his stellar production credits on songs like Lady Gaga and Beyonce's "Telephone," Justin Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me," and Brandy and Monica's "The Boy Is Mine," Joy is a talented artist as well. When she was 15, she won the televised talent competition Star Search and has released two solo albums. After getting married to Rodney in 2004 and having three children, she is ready to resume working on her music career.

During the interview, Rodney and Joy explained why they passed up opportunities to do a reality show immediately after they got married; how Rodney likes having his in-laws (Joy's parents and siblings) living with them; and why they were happy to have their show air on the new Latin network NuVo TV.
