The U.S. pop market welcomes a new leading lady this week, UK singer, actress and model Rita Ora, who is signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation and Columbia Records. Ora's video for "How We Do (Party)" is a playful ode to tearing up the town with the energy of a Katy Perry anthem.

Ora is already a big star in the UK where her video for "Hot Right Now," a collab with DJ Fresh, has to date more than 18 million YouTube views.

According to a spokesperson, the blonde beauty, who has made cameos in videos for Jay-Z's "Forever Young" and Draker's "Over," is slated to open up for Coldplay on tour. Additionally, Drake, Kanye West, will.i.am, Ester Dean and The-Dream are producing songs for her forthcoming album, "R.I.P."

Ora honed her chops as a student at West London's Sylvia Young Theatre School that boasts alumni including Amy Winehouse and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton.

Ora has also appeared in the film "Spivs" and a commercial for Calvin Klein's CK1.
