Hip-Hop Media Training

Hip-hop hits from Lil' Wayne, Beyonce, Soulja Boy and JaimeFoxx have been stripped of their brashness and transformed into easy-listeninginstrumental songs, and appear on the 10 song set, "UnwrappedVol. 6: Give The Drummer Some!"

Lil' Wayne'sNo. 1 record "Lollipop" highlights the piano notes. Beyonce's "Single Ladies"emphasizes the infectious handclap and a gospel synthesizer melody. SouljaBoy's "Turn My Swag On" is surprisingly repurposed as a smooth and funky jazztrack. Jamie Foxx's "Blame It" opens with electric guitars.

The popular series released on Hidden Beach Recordings hasconsistently debuted in the top five on the Contemporary Jazz Chart. "Vol. 6" wasproduced by TonyRoyster, Jr., Jay-Z's drummer who is currently on tour with the mogul andeven played with him at President Barack Obama's inauguration in January.
