Nas Releases Video For Amy Winehouse Collab “Cherry Wine”

Nas' video for "Cherry Wine," his Life Is Good collab with the late Amy Winehouse, turned out to be an endearing tribute to the soul pop siren.

On the jazzy song produced by Saalam Remi, who has worked extensively with both artists, Nas and Amy discuss their tiresome search for soulmates.

Nas raps that he's looking for a woman "not easily impressed with the rich and famous life 'cause she been there and heard all the rumors before," and on the chorus, Winehouse sings about her dream of "finding a guy just like me."

In the video, Nas brings his persona to life, playing an emotionally tortured bartender, who spends the night watching his fantasy girl being courted by several men in the bar. But to his benefit, none of the men hold her interest. The video ends with Nas and the Amy lookalike walking off into the sunrise.

Amy's presence is also felt in the video via performance footage of the singer projected onto a wall in the nightclub.
