Up-and-coming Carson, Ca rapper GdotO has released a video for his song "Trayvon Martin — Skittles & Arizona Iced Tea." Based on the reporting of the February 26 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fl, GdotO describes his impression of the last minutes of Martin's life.

The video starts with Martin coming home from school and greeting his mother before heading to the store to get snacks. In the song, GdotO describes Martin grabbing his hoodie because it looks like it's going to rain and calling his girlfriend on his walk.

The lyrics intensify when GdotO raps about Martin's walk through a gated community as he "marvels at these houses and these beautiful estates." He portrays Martin as nervous when he realizes that he is being followed.

GdotO's interpretation of George Zimmerman's confrontation with Martin is chilling. GdotO rhymes, "Didn't do anything wrong so I stood my ground and faced this grown man in the dark, with the hatred in his heart. He grabbed me so I grabbed him back. Never been a punk so I'm fighting back."

The video closes with a clip of Zimmerman's 911 call and an image of a boy's body laying on the ground with a bottle of iced tea in his hand and a bag of Skittles next to him.
