Lily Allen Upholds Kanye West's Honor

Hating on Kanye West is a common hobby these days, but Lily Allen is doing her part to defend him. The singer was at Glastonbury this past weekend to see the rapper’s controversial Saturday performance and stumbled upon a banner that very eloquently said, “F*** Off Kanye."

So, like a good citizen who picks up other people’s trash, Allen stole the banner, drove it back to her campsite and burned it so that it only said “Kanye." Then she celebrated her act of rebellion by waving it around.

Allen explained her good deed on Instagram, writing: “Don’t go for dinner at someone’s house and tell them their food sucks.”

The singer is an unapologetic fan of Kanye, even naming her latest album Sheezus after the rapper’s Yeezus.

Last year she told Cosmopolitan: “What makes him Yeezus to me is that he is always open, honest, true to his word, and doesn’t give a hmm-mmm what anybody thinks.”

That’s all for today, but tonight on Yahoo Live we are streaming a performance from the band Strung Out, starting at 6 p.m. PT. And starting Friday July 3, we’re giving you front row seats to London’s Wireless Festival. To watch some of their biggest headliners, just visit here.
