If you're anywhere near San Francisco, CA, surely you can't even walk down the street without hearing about this year's 10th annual "Jerry Day" commemorating the Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia. Since 2002, Deadheads have come together the first weekend of August to pay tribute to their idol on his birthday, August 1. The good folks down at Grateful Dead member Bob Weir's TRI Studios is headlining this year's festivities with "Move Me Brightly", a tribute concert to celebrate the rock legend's 70th birthday from his hometown in the Bay. And us good folks down at Y! Music will be streaming the entire show live!

San Francisco will be celebrating Jerry Day with events around the city, including a charity fundraiser, a concert at the Jerry Garcia Amphitheater (duh), a Grateful Dead movie screening, and even a tribute night at AT&T Park for the SF Giant's game complete with Jerry Garcia bobbleheads. TRI Studio's own exclusive concert event is taking Jerry Day to the next level by bringing together the artists and loved ones closest to the legendary musician, plus some special guests!

Actor Luke Wilson will be emceeing the show that will include performances by Willie Nelson's son Lukas Nelson, Joe Russo and Jeff Chimenti from Furthur, Mike Gordon of Phish, Paul Simon's son Harper Simon, psychedelic folk musician Jonathan Wilson and Bay Area singer-songwriter Cass McCombs.

Fellow rock icon Carlos Santana will honor Garcia via video interview and David Crosby's heartfelt poem "Cause I'm Missing Him Tonight", which was written for Garcia, will be read during the show. Jerry's own daughters, brother Tiff, and ex-wife Carolyn "Mountain Girl" Garcia will be in attendance as well as Bill Walton, "The World's Tallest Deadhead".

So if you aren't fortunate enough to be in San Francisco this weekend, gather your friends, don your best tie-dye and smoke 'em if you got 'em in anticipation for Y! Music's exclusive live stream of "Move Me Brightly"!
