Season 6 "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks made a surprise appearance during the iHeartRadio Album Release Party With Jason Derulo on Tuesday night.

The singer and "Sparkle" actress joined her boyfriend on stage to perform their duet, "Vertigo," from his new album, "Talk Dirty," which was released Tuesday.

Before singing the song, Derulo announced that a "very special lady" would be joining him. After the first verse, Sparks made her entrance —  looking spectacular in a floaty, pink dress with her hair styled in long, curly locks — as the crowd cheered.

Sparks walked right up to Derulo and sang into his eyes, caressing his face while crooning the seductive lyrics, "The way that you please me sets this room on fire."

Derulo blushed and initially stood frozen, watching her sing. After the performance, he kissed her affectionately on the neck before they joked about their relationship with Clear Channel personality Nessa.

When asked how many children she'd like to have, Jordin said she would like to start off with a small number. "He has a big family, and I grew up with one brother," she said. "We'll start with one and go from there. I guess they could be twins, but start with one."

On the subject of their complimentary singing ranges, Sparks said the two have different strengths. "Jason is definitely the better vocal gymnast. He can do those all day," she said. "But I can hit the high note way up there."

Derulo added that Sparks can hit the low notes, too. "In the morning, she's like, 'What's up, B?'" he said in a deep voice, teasing her and making her giggle. "I can't help it," she said. "My range goes crazy."

Derulo showcased his range during the two-part, hourlong concert. In the first segment, he performed a ballad version of his dance hit "The Other Side." The slower rendition was more pop rock than EDM. But he played it in its original, explosive styling for the night's final number, which shined with his signature hip-hop choreography.

Derulo also performed excerpts of several new songs throughout the night — "Wiggle," his fun, bouncy track with Snoop Dogg; "Bubblegum," a hip-hop record with a guest rap from Tyga; and "Kama Sutra," a collaboration with Kid Ink that's another standout party starter.

He also sang all of his past hits, including his 2009 breakthrough record, "Whatcha Say" as well as "Don't Wanna Go Home," "In My Head," "It Girl," and "Ridin' Solo."

By the time he wrapped up the show with his driving version of "The Other Side," he had the audience singing along.
