There were a lot of fireworks on the screen Sunday night, but even more chemistry inside the room as the stars mixed and mingled during the breaks at downtown L.A.’s Staples Center.  Here from our reporter on the scene are the greatest Grammys moments that didn’t appear on TV.

Music's king and queen did not disappoint up close and personal. After their steamy performance the couple kept it going in the audience, crazy with PDA and definitely rivaling Taylor Swift for most fun attendees. During Daft Punk, Pharell and Stevie Wonder's performances, Bey and Jay were having a dance off in the aisle. Singing along to the song, the couple laughed and showed off some moves getting seriously down. In case you were wondering, Bey and Jay don't discriminate with their music choices.

They were up rocking out to the Blake Shelton, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson and Merle Haggard number. Queen Bey may have been Metallica's biggest fan. She waved one hand in the air throughout their performance, clutching a drink as she shook her hair back and forth. Jay and Beyonce, it should be noted, were special enough to get drinks in the alcohol-less venue. Jay, always the gentleman, made sure his lady was topped off whenever the glass looked low. As for their neighbors, the couple chatted with Robin Thicke and Paula Patton, as well as Pharell and Daft Punk. When the cameras weren't on them they were very affectionate. Beyonce rubbed her husband's back while he kept his hand around her waist, frequently kissing her. The consensus? Too cute.

2. Team Taylor

Taylor Swift and Lorde are definitely music’s new power BFF's. Throughout the show, the singers found time to catch up during commercial breaks. It looked like Taylor was giving Lorde a little advice and offering congratulations to the newcomer, who seemed overwhelmed with her two big wins. Swift leapt to her feet each time Lorde won, cheering her on. When Taylor wasn't hanging with the New Zealand sensation, she chatted was with her family and collaborator Ed Sheeran. Ed sat behind Taylor and the two chatted throughout the bulk of the show.

Jared Leto proved why he is an Oscar nominated actor. The “Dallas Buyers Club" star was one of the only presenters who didn't use the teleprompter. His Lou Reed tribute and Metallica introduction clearly came straight from the heart.

4. Beatles Reunion Pt. 1

Before Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr took the stage, they performed together before the Grammys even started. At the two-minute warning before the show, the event's producer got Paul and Ringo to sing happy birthday to stage manager John Bradley.

5. Best New (a little confused at first) Artist

After Macklemore and Ryan Lewis won the coveted award, Macklemore was a little overwhelmed and didn't seem to know where to go. After his speech he was escorted backstage but it took a few tries to get there.

It should have been a sign of things to come, but after Lorde's performance of "Royals," she received a standing ovation from the crowd. Apparently she had debated performing a new song, but felt passionately about sticking to Royals. Who can blame her?!
