YouTube Awards performer Tyler, The Creator has some serious gripes about the event that aired on the popular video site Sunday.
During his red carpet arrival to the show, Tyler vented to Sean "Diddy" Combs' Revolt TV.
"YouTube, you guys had a beautiful platform to allow actual talented people, who take videos or whatever and think on a creative level, to actually give them exposure and award them for their creative work," he said.

The controversial rapper accused the leading video platform of devoting too much attention to mainstream artists. "You f-ckin' idiots decided to do the same sh-t with the same weak ass Katy Perry and Justin Bieber and all these weak ass things that everybody else knows instead of giving of people who actually do things a chance to shine."
Tyler also complained about the YouTube Awards via Twitter:
EARL AND I PERFORMING AT THE YOUTUBE AWARDS DONT EXPECT ANYTHING COOL ITS JUST US IN A ROOM RAPPING INTO MICS.— Tyler, The Creator (@fucktyler) November 3, 2013
Chart-topping acts Eminem, Taylor Swift and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis won three of the six awards categories, Artist of the Year, YouTube Phenonmenon and YouTube Breakthrough, respectively.
South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, YouTube personality DeStorm Power and violinist Lindsey Stirling received the other honors, Video of the Year, Innovation of the Year and Response of the Year.
Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt performed their collab "Sasquatch."
Tyler's dig at Justin Bieber comes as a surprise. In August, the musicians posted photos of themselves hanging out at Fat Burgers.
