Justin Bieber pranks TMZ on April Fools’ Day. How does it measure up to his other jokes?

It's usually TMZ who's calling out Justin Bieber, but on Monday the Canadian pop star gave the gossip website a little taste of their own medicine.

According to WENN.com, the 19-year-old "Boyfriend" singer posted TMZ's hotline number -- a toll-free number, meaning the site would have to pay the bill -- on his site on April Fools' Day and tweeted, "As promised taking all fan phone calls TODAY... Talk to u soon!" The Biebz eventually deleted the tweet but left up the follow-up message, "Did everyone call me yet?"

So how does this prank measure up to the panoply of others the famous "prankster" has unleashed on fans and fellow celebs over the years? Let's compare.

In October, the Ontario native pranked the media to promote the release of his new single, "Beauty and the Beat." Though he claimed his laptop had been stolen, the hit track's video made the joke clear.

"In October of 2012 three hours of personal was stolen from musician Justin Bieber. The following footage was illegally uploaded by an anonymous blogger."

That same month, Bieber pranked fellow singer Cody Simpson by crashing his performance during their Kansas City tour stop.

Two months prior, he reportedly tweeted the phone number of a Detroit teen, Kevin Kirstopick, after the the latter allegedly hacked one of Biebz' friends' Twitter accounts.

In March 2012, Bieber tweeted to his fans to "call me right now" with a partial phone number (minus the last digit). Two Texans later complained about his "reckless" behaviour after they got more than 1,000 phone calls.

That same month the Canadian pop star appropriately became the guest host of MTV's "PUNK'd." On the show he pranked both Taylor Swift (she thought some fireworks she set off ruined a nearby wedding) and Miley Cyrus (the Biebz pretends to beat up some kids in front of her).

In 2011, Bieber surprised Willow Smith by ambushing one of her concerts while she performed "Whip My Hair." His manager Scooter Braun and swagger coach Ryan Goode appeared on stage in Manchester with their own hair extensions, as did her bro Jaden, while Bieber clanged a cowbell.

So, which of his pranks do you think topped them all?
