Brad Paisley Gets Animated For ‘South Park’

Brad Paisley now has yet another accolade to add to his resume: Cartoon. Yup, you heard that right--the superstar will be appearing on South Park Wednesday in animated form to hang out with Cartman and the rest of the crew.

Paisley visited the South Park studios over the weekend and tweeted about his experience, advising fans they might want to tune in this week. "If I may say, I make a handsome cartoon," he noted. "Well, you be the judge of that."

Apparently, he'll portray himself singing the National Anthem before a Denver Nuggets game, as well as a duet with Cartman later in the show.

Although South Park is known for having musicians as guest stars (past episodes have included everyone from Ozzy Osbourne to Radiohead), as far as I can recall, there has never been a country musician on the show. Therefore, "You'll laugh. You'll cry. You may shart," as Paisley himself tweeted. Good one, Brad.

South Park airs Wednesday night on Comedy Central at 10 p.m. ET. In addition to celebrating his appearance on the program, Paisley is likely excited about the two CMT Awards nominations he received this week--both for his collab with Carrie Underwood, "Remind Me."
