Carrie Underwood Announces New Single ‘Good Girl,’ Showcases Bad-Girl Vibe

This year's record-release schedule is filled with exciting new music from some of country's top artists; one of them being, of course, the lovely Carrie Underwood. There is still no official street date for her much-anticipated fourth album--but here's some good (literally, as you'll see) news for fans. The first single from the record will be released in just a few short weeks.

The track's called "Good Girl," and it'll hit radio on February 23. Underwood worked on the song with co-writers Chris DeStefano and Ashley Gorley, who also co-wrote two of Underwood's No. 1 hits "Don't Forget to Remember Me," and "All-American Girl."

Underwood is so excited about how good her new tune is, that she decided to film a little clip discussing it, which you can watch below. "I think it's going to blow you guys away," she promises.

Well, I haven't heard the music yet. But you know what has me blown away? Underwood's hair in this clip. She's looking a little more...wild than usual, would you all say?

Underwood's headshot, which you can see above, also shows a different, more mature side of the singer. In addition to sporting a slightly less good-girl look, Underwood has hinted that her forthcoming album will include material that's a bit on the darker side as well.

What do you all think of her new vibe? Be sure to let me know!
