Dixie Chick Emily Robison Welcomes A Baby Daughter
Another little chick has hatched! Dixie Chick Emily Robison is now a proud mama to her fourth child, Violet Isabel Strayer, who was born early Tuesday morning.
Robison's spokesperson confirmed with People that mom and baby are doing just fine--"and Dad couldn't be happier." The 8.5-pound arrival marks Robison's second daughter--she's also mom to 7-year-old twins Juliana and Henry, as well as eldest son Gus, who will be 10 in November.
Violet is Robison's first child with boyfriend Martin Strayer. Her older children's dad is ex-husband and fellow musician Charlie Robison, whom she divorced in 2008. Strayer himself is also a musician, who plays guitar and cowrites songs for Robison and sister Martie Maguire's side project, the Court Yard Hounds.
So, how many baby chicks total are in the Chicks' camp now? A whopping nine! In addition to Robison's brood, Maguire has three daughters and lead singer Natalie Maines has two sons.
