The Goat Rodeo Sessions Live: Now Coming To A Theater Near You

Back in December, RAM Country spotlighted the talents of an unusual band of musicians--"unusual" being the operative adjective merely due to the unexpectedness of their collaboration, as well as the level of their respective/collective talents. The group in question's known as Goat Rodeo, and it features a cast that's well known each in his or her individual right: world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, bassist Edgar Meyer, mandolin player Chris Thile, fiddle master Stuart Duncan, and guest vocalist Aoife O'Donovan of bluegrass group Crooked Still.

The best way to describe the music--well, "Americana" is a good touchpoint, but this is a truly standalone project.

If you were intrigued and checked out our exclusive performances from Goat Rodeo (which are below, in case you missed them), you're sure to be interested in this exclusive event. The Goat Rodeo Sessions Live will be broadcast live from the House of Blues Boston and shown in movie theaters nationwide on January 31. So, in other words, it's like seeing these stellar artists play in an intimate venue, from a comfy seat with a great view, and without having to leave your hometown.

The show will take place at 7:30 p.m. ET (8 p.m. MT/PT/HI). Tickets are available here, and you can check here for a list of participating theaters. Enjoy the show!
