‘Joyful Noise’ On DVD Contains Exclusive Dolly Parton Scenes
Fans of Dolly Parton's hit film Joyful Noise--and its uplifting soundtrack--will no doubt be happy that the Blu-ray/DVD package is now out this week to enjoy at home.
In addition to the fun and abundant music of the flick itself, a extra-special treat for Dolly-lovers is the behind-the-scenes features the edition contains, which include the legendary singer discussing her songwriting processes over the years.

Joyful Noise, which hit theaters in early January, tells the story of two strong-willed women (Parton and her co-star Queen Latifah) who have differing ideas on how a local church choir should be conducted--but are ultimately forced to cooperate with each other when budget cuts threaten to shut the whole chorus down.
