Kenny Chesney Already Has Tour Plans For 2013!

For those of you whose ears are still ringing from Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw's blockbuster Brothers of the Sun tour this summer--buckle your seatbelts for another ride. Chesney has just announced his next mega-tour, which will take him to 17 stadiums (and beyond) starting in early Spring 2013.

The tour, titled No Shoes Nation, was announced by Chesney on Thursday via his web station No Shoes Radio. It kicks off March 16 in Tampa, and he'll be joined on the road by special guests Eric Church, the Eli Young Band, and Kacey Musgraves. A few select dates will feature the Zac Brown Band in place of Church.

Chesney explained that he chose the name for the tour as a salute to his fanbase. "I believe what we've created on the road is something special--the fans, myself, the band, the crew. But it's really the fans who have given us a wonderful, unique life," he said. "What we've all built together is the 'No Shoes Nation.'There is no better name for this tour."

Here's the currently announced dates for the tour. More are set to be announced in the coming months. The Zac Brown Band will play the Columbia, Minneapolis, and Atlanta dates; Church will open on the others. The Eli Young Band and Musgraves will play all dates.
