Luke Bryan Scoops Up Awards Nominations In Banner Week

Wow, what a week this is shaping up to be for Luke Bryan! The singer learned earlier this week that he was tied with Carrie Underwood for most country nominations at this year's all-genre American Music Awards. Then, on Wednesday, it was announced he led the pack in nods for the third annual American Country Awards--a staggering seven notches on his belt.

At the AMAs, Bryan will go head-to-head with Underwood--as well as Lionel Richie--for the Favorite Country Album award. He's also up for Favorite Male Country Artist, along with Jason Aldean and Eric Church.

In terms of the ACAs, Bryan is probably most interested in the primo award category, Artist of the Year, in which he'll face up against Jason Aldean, Lady Antebelleum, Taylor Swift, and the Zac Brown Band. He's also nominated in the Male Artist and Album categories, as well as multiple nods in the single and video categories.

While Bryan is no doubt excited about all the recognition this week, he's also keeping quite busy with the start of his fourth annual Farm Tour--he tweeted on Sunday that the opening week "has been one of the best weeks of my life. Thanks for making a dream come true." (Check out a full list of dates for the tour here.)

Both the AMAs and ACAs are determined by fan votes. To choose your favorites for the AMAs, visit here. To get in on the ACA action, you can visit here. Both entities require you to sign in before voting. The AMAs will air live from Los Angeles November 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. The ACAs will air live from Las Vegas on December 10 at 8 PM ET/PT on FOX.
