It's always nice to run into an ex-boyfriend when one is looking smashing...and has an equally smashing spouse on one's arm, right? Nicole Kidman had this particular pleasure when she bumped into old flame Lenny Kravitz at the 2013 CMT Awards, where both he and her husband Keith Urban were performing.

Kidman, dressed in a uncharacteristically low-key but flattering simple black dress, appeared delighted to see her onetime love--whom she began dating a decade ago in 2003 after renting his Manhattan apartment. The pair denied engagement rumors at the time; however, Kidman's rep noted "they are very close" and Kravitz allegedly penned his 2004 tune "Lady" in her honor.

All that's water under the bridge now, as the 45-year-old Kidman is happily paired off with "American Idol" judge Urban, who's the father of her two young daughters. Kravitz, 49, himself seemed nothing but pleased to chat up his ex-gal's hubby, which was warmly reciprocated.

It's so nice to see everyone getting along, isn't it?

Kravitz showed the CMT crowd that he knew how to bring the country vibe, giving a smoking performance of his hit "American Woman" at the awards show accompanied by host Jason Aldean.

The CMT Awards were streamed live from Nashville June 5. A complete list of winners can be found here.
