Rascal Flatts’ ‘Changed’ Set For April Release

Who's ready for some new music from Rascal Flatts? All of you raising your hands out there won't have very long to wait! The trio announced on Thursday that they will be releasing their new album on April 3.

The record is titled Changed, and it marks the Flatts' seventh studio album overall. It's the second album the band has made with new label home Big Machine. (Their first, Nothing Like This, was released in late 2010.) Here's the cover art for you to have a look at, too.

According to the band, they decided to try something a little different for this go-round--hey, the name of the album is "Changed," after all! So, the new set was recorded at bassist Jay DeMarcus's home studio in Nashville. The first single from the project, "Banjo," was released to radio last week.

All of the band's previous albums have gone platinum for sales exceeding one million copies, and every one has also debuted on the top of the Billboard Country Albums chart. I'd say it's a pretty safe bet they'll be continuing that streak with Changed, upon its release in a couple of months.

Rascal Flatts are currently on tour through 2012. You can keep up with their schedule here.
