Texas beauty Sunny Sweeney first made her move on the Nashville scene in 2007, with the release of her debut album Heartbreaker's Hall Of Fame. The record, which spawned three singles, was noted by fans and critics alike for its honky-tonk, traditional edge--hey, after all...the girl has the title of a Merle Haggard tune tattooed on her wrist, and her voice has been compared to Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks. However, none of the songs hit the charts.
Sweeney's sophomore album, Concrete, is set for release on Tuesday, August 23.
