Nowadays, most airlines have completely slashed all passenger perks: If you want legroom, a bag of peanuts, a blanket, or even the privilege of checking on your luggage, you're out of luck (or it'll cost you). But yesterday, some lucky passengers on a Southwest Airlines flight from Denver to Burbank--winners of a contest sponsored by Colorado radio station Alice 105.9--got to enjoy some very special free in-flight entertainment, when they were treated to a mid-air acoustic show by "American Idol" winner Kris Allen as part of Southwest's "Live at 35" concert series.
