The fifth season of "The Voice" premiered last night to fantastic ratings, only 24 hours after winning the Emmy for Outstanding Reality Competition Program (something "American Idol" never managed to do after nine nominations). It also introduced a slew of promising talent to America, and reunited the original "Voice" dream team of Adam Levine and Blake Shelton with Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green. So it's pretty much official now: "The Voice" is the top singing show on TV.
Today, my uncharacteristically cheerful "The Day After" co-host Matt Whitfield and I discuss last night's awesome auditions and the return of Xtina and CeeLo. Feel free to join the chat in the comments section below!
