Dozens of music celebrities (including Ke$ha, Jewel, Maroon 5's Adam Levine, Jason Derulo, Gloria Estefan, Ciara, "Glee" darling Chris Colfer, Good Charlotte's Joel Madden, and Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears) have recently recorded PSAs for gay activist Dan Savage's "It Gets Better" campaign, as a way of reassuring at-risk, bullied LGBT teens that suicide is no way to escape life's problems, no matter how insurmountable such problems might seem right now. And this week one of music's most famous openly gay icons, Adam Lambert, added his multi-octave voice to the mix.

If there was ever an example that life can get better, it's Adam, who started out as a closeted, freckle-faced, slightly chubby theater geek and evolved, swan-like, into The Glambert: "rebel Idol," pop-culture lightning rod, international singing sensation, and trouser-snaked Rolling Stone cover boy. Yep, it doesn't get any "better" than that.
