X Factor, The Day After: Top 9 Show Dish

This week, "The X Factor" aired a special Thanksgiving episode, featuring the top nine contestants singing songs of thanks for the loved ones in their lives. And my Yahoo! colleague Matt Whitfield and I were just giving thanks that this episode--while a bit too heavy on the cheese and sap--was way better than week's terribly un-rockin' "rock"-themed episode.

Yes, Marcus Canty and Drew Ryniewicz hit some bad notes. Yes, L.A. Reid was acting like a jerk and seemed to think that Demi Lovato is 40 years old. Yes, Melanie Amaro bizarrely showed off the other side of her split personality and confused millions of viewers. And yes, Astro seemed to think that being on "The X Factor" means never having to say you're sorry. But there were still some nice moments last night that helped us get back on board with this show.

Watch Matt and I discuss last night's episode, and offer our predictions for tonight's big double elimination, in the latest installment of "The Day After" above. And feel free to your own comments, complaints, and concerns on the message board below!
