Coldplay’s Latest Single “Paradise”

Stop The Presses!

You've been walking for days; over hills of tall grass, across cracked deserts, through precarious mountain passes. Armor rusted, soles worn to a flutter, a broadsword hangs heavy at your side. The faded memory of something (or was it someone?) is all that can sustain you now on this madman's quest. Push on, push on.

You hear a rustle behind you: Rabbit? Snake? Your stomach rumbles. No, bigger. Much bigger. Turn your head slowly dear traveler, for there are stranger things afoot in this realm.

Like dubstep? Okay, maybe a little.

After posting three songs from their latest album --"Every Tear Is A Waterfall," "Moving To Mars" and "Major Minus"--on YouTube in June, Coldplay crept up on us a few months later with their latest song "Paradise" today. Continuing the adventure that is their album "Mylo Xyloto," the song is a wanderlust crusade with a lightly dubstepping beat worthy of a "Lord of the Rings" soundtrack.

And much like when a movie character says the movie title, Chris Martin namedrops "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" in the second verse. Cinematic music at its finest.
