Flavor Flav will be going to trial to defend himself against two felony assault charges.

The rapper and reality television star is accused of pushing his girlfriend to the floor in October 2012 and wielding knives while chasing and threatening his girlfriend’s teenage son, according to the AP.

On Wednesday, a judge ruled that there is enough evidence against Flav to go to trial.

The 54-year-old did not testify at Wednesday's evidentiary hearing in Nevada, but his girlfriend's son did, according to the report.

An arraignment on felony charges of assault with a weapon and child endangerment is scheduled for April 18, the same day his group Public Enemy is scheduled to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame.

Flavor Flav faces up to 12 years in prison if convicted of the charges.

Known for wearing clocks around his neck and his animated rap style, Flavor Flav became a reality show star in 2004 thanks to his appearance on The Surreal Life.

His Strange Love spinoff program with Brigitte Nielsen became one of VH1’s most popular programs in 2005, setting the stage for his wildly popular Flavor of Love program, where he searched for a potential bride.
