Lady Gaga Officially Cancels Entire Tour Due To Injuries, Needs Surgery

Poor Little Monsters! Mother Monster Lady Gaga has officially canceled the rest of her "Born This Way Ball" tour due to an injury she left untreated and hid from her staff. The singer just yesterday showed her cards via Twitter, profusely apologizing to fans for postponing a few tour dates. But turns out after she was given a full medical evaluation, Gaga was given the big no-go by doctors.

Gaga's reps released a statement Wednesday saying, "After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal."

A whopping twenty-one concerts from Chicago to Tulsa will be canceled, counting for more than half her entire tour run. No telling how many tens of thousands of fans this will affect, along with a huge monetary loss for Gaga and those who work to put on her enormous stage show.

With a full-on castle that opens and closes, Lady Gaga's "Born This Way Ball" concert requires her to not only dance, but dance along slanting rafters, up and down stairs, contort into a motorcycle with a dancer on her back, and jump head first into a giant meat grinder, to just name a few moves--all while in heels. And not even in her signature eight-inch plus heels!

All ticket holders for canceled dates can receive refunds at point of purchase starting Thursday, February 14. As if Valentine's Day couldn't get more depressing!
