President Obama made plenty of jokes at his own expense and at the expense of others at the 2013 White House Correspondents' Dinner last week.

But his jab at Jay-Z was particularly noteworthy given that rappers typically do not make it into remarks made by the President.

At the Dinner last week, the President took a shot at Jay-Z, referencing the artist's popular "99 Problems" single.

"Some things are beyond my control," the President said. "For example, this whole controversy about Jay-Z going to Cuba. It's unbelievable. I've got 99 problems and now Jay-Z's one."

In the chorus of "99 Problems," Jay-Z raps, "If you havin' girl problems, I feel bad for you, son. I've got 99 problems but a b-tch ain't one."

The President and the White House had responded to complaints earlier this month about Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé's recent trip to Cuba after the rapper said in the song "Open Letter" that he discussed the jaunt with the president.

White House press secretary Jay Carney denied the President had any role in Jay-Z's trip to the island nation.

But Jay-Z was not the only rap included in the President's White House Correspondents' Dinner speech.

The President took the stage to DJ Khaled's "All I Do Is Win."

"How do you like my new entrance music?" the President asked once the music stopped. "Rush Limbaugh warned you about this. Second term, baby. We re changing things around here a little bit."
