Singer Monica Shows Off Her Baby Bump

Singer Monica revealed that she's expecting her first child with her basketball star hubby Shannon Brown via social media on Mother's Day weekend.
The 32-year-old R&B star posted an Instagram photo of herself on Saturday dressed in a dazzling blue dress that revealed her baby bump. She also said on Twitter that her pregnancy is more than five months along. "5 months & counting LOL #excited," she wrote.
Kind words from fans, friends, and well-wishers poured in, and Monica responded by tweeting, "I can feel the love & Im thankful."
Monica was dressed up to attend "A Night to Remember," a charity event in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she performed to raise grant and scholarship money for urban youth.
While this will be the couple's first child together, they already have a large family. Monica has two young sons from her previous relationship with rapper Rodney Hill, and Brown also has a son from a prior relationship.
The day after the gala, Monica celebrated Mother's Day with her own mom and her entire family at the Tennessee Aquarium, and posted another photo revealing her pregnant belly. She wrote, "Tennessee Aquarium for Mothers Day w/ My Amazing Mom❤ and the whole Family #BestMothersDayEver http://instagram.com/p/ZN4YCdzae8/"
Monica met Brown, who played for the Lakers when they met and now plays for the Phoenix Suns, when he appeared as her love interest in the video for her song "Love All Over Me." The pair had a whirlwind courtship, getting married in November 2010, just one month after announcing their engagement.
