Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Reps Deny Affair Rumors

Star magazine's shocking KimYe headline from Wednesday morning sent the gossip mill into overdrive.

"Kanye West Cheating on Kim Kardashian!"

According to the tabloid mag, West has been carrying on an affair for a year with a 24-year-old French-Canadian model named Leyla Ghobadi. The headline comes with just weeks left before Kardashian is scheduled to give birth to her and West’s first child.

According to Star, Ghobadi met West at his Atlanta concert on last July, where she claims he had instructed his security to pick her out of the crowd to meet with him for drinks after his show. She says that their subsequent affair consisted of two sexual encounters, including one while Kardashian was pregnant.

However, West’s camp says the allegations are absolutely false. “This most recent attack on Kanye West and his family is totally without merit,” his rep tells "omg! Insider." "It's a blatant attempt by a misguided individual who is clearly seeking publicity, and another in a series of malicious stories drummed up by non-credible 'news" sources. This is a sad attempt to hurt two people trying to live their lives."

A Kardashian rep concurred, telling "omg! Insider" that "on the record" this story is "not true."

"omg! Insider" also spoke Wednesday morning with Star mag deputy editor Matt Coppa, who says that the publication stand by its story. "(Their affair) all snowballed into wild nights of partying and hooking up," he says. "And that he even reached out to connect with her again last weekend!

This bombshell headline comes just as West is readying to drop his highly anticipated new album, "Yeezus," next Tuesday. Over the weekend, West performed a huge concert at the Governors Ball music festival in New York City.

On Tuesday, New York Times music writer Jon Caramanica published an extremely personal interview with West, which took place over three days while the writer visited the rapper at the Malibu, California, studio where he was finishing his new album. In the interview, West discusses everything from his artistry, to his very public relationship, to his now infamous encounter with Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV VMAs. Of the latter, West tells the Times, "It’s only led me to complete awesomeness at all times. It’s only led me to awesome truth and awesomeness. Beauty, truth, awesomeness. That’s all it is."
