It’s a Krewella Summer: Meet EDM’s New It Girls

The New Now

Krewella recently performed a daytime set at the iHeartRadio Music Festival's Village in Las Vegas, then hopped on a plane to play Southern California's Nocturnal Festival, and THEN jetted back to Vegas to DJ the official iHeart afterparty at hot nightclub Light. That's how in-demand Krewella are these days.

But who exactly are Krewella? They're Chicago's own Jahan Yousaf, Yasmine Yousaf, and Rain Man, and while they seem to have come out of nowhere with their dance hits "Alive," "Killing It," and "Live For the Night," they've been doing this for seven years...and Jahan and Yasmine are sisters, so they obviously go way back. Now, as they release their debut album, Get Wet, Krewella's time has truly arrived.

Yahoo Music got to chat with Jahan and Yasmine backstage at the iHeart Village about their career, their music, their future...and Andrew WK, of course. Check out what these ones-to-watch had to say!
