See It First! Nashville Rockers Steve Taylor & The Perfect Foil Debut New 'Ride'

Nashville certainly does rock as well as twang, as proven by new sensations Steve Taylor & The Perfect Foil, a quartet out of Music City which is poised to release its debut album, Goliath, on November 18. Those in the know are already clued into the band's crazier side, but for those who aren't -- well, check out this video debuting exclusively on Yahoo Music!

"Only A Ride" cleverly utilizes footage from the 1970 cult film Stunt Rock, directed by one of Quentin Tarantino’s favorite filmmakers, Brian Trenchard-Smith. The band, avid fans of the director's work, received his permission to splice themselves into his imagery, a phenomenon that according to frontman Taylor worked astonishingly well.

"Similar to the Dark Side Of The Moon/Wizard of Oz phenomenon, we discovered that our lead-off track ‘Only A Ride’ perfectly synced to the trailer for Brian Trenchard-Smith’s Stunt Rock trailer in a marriage that can only be described as God-ordained," Taylor notes. Don't believe it? Watch for yourself -- and no need to wait for the lion to roar for the third time!
