Classic Albums Remade: Dark Side Of The Moon

If I had to pick, I would say that The Beatles are the most influential band in the history of pop music, but if I had the choose the album that's had the most influence I would probably go with Pink Floyd's 1973 release, Dark Side Of The Moon. Which, by the way, was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London. It was the eighth album released by Pink Floyd, and became one of the most legendary records of all time. It was an instant hit, topping the charts on its release, and remaining on the charts for an incredible 741 weeks. It is the longest continuously charting album in history. Rock critics have consistently rated it one of the best albums of all time, but most importantly, Dark Side Of The Moon is one of those albums that continues to be discovered generation after generation.

You simply have not yet come of age until you have digested this record.

For this playlist I've recreated the full album from cover versions of each song. After selecting each track I compiled them in the same order in which they appear on the original album.
