Arcade Fire Announce Release Date for New Album

Arcade Fire have announced the release date for their still-untitled new album, though they did it pretty covertly. The Canadian rock band responded to a fan on Twitter, unprompted, that they'll release the follow up to 2010's The Suburbs on October 29th.

The New Immortals: Arcade Fire

In March, Arcade Fire connected with James Murphy at DFA Records' New York studio to lay down tracks. "I think it's going to be a really great record, actually," Murphy told Rolling Stone. They've also had some good news outside of music: band members Win Butler and Regine Chassagne welcomed a baby boy – the couple's first child – in April.
