Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, and Kings of Leon's Nathan Followill were among those sharing their thoughts on the death of country great George Jones, who died today in Nashville at age 81. The Texas native was hospitalized last week with a fever and irregular blood pressure. George, known as "the greatest voice in country music," had 143 Top 40 hits in his career, including 14 Number One tracks like "White Lightning," "She Thinks I Still Care," and "He Stopped Loving Her Today." He was in the midst of ending his seven-decade career Grand Tour, and his final Nashville concert – which was planned for November 22nd – was the cornerstone of the tour, with fans like Keith Richards, Jamey Johnson, Garth Brooks, Kid Rock, Kenny Rogers and more.
