One message that was posted on the page reads, “Buy the track, stream the track, let’s get the track to No. 1 for our lost national treasure!”

More than five decades since its first release, the ballad is currently sitting at no. 37 in the Singles Chart Top 100.

The track returned to the charts last September, reaching the no. 47 spot, following the broadcast of the ITV drama ‘Cilla’, which starred Sheridan Smith in the lead role, documenting the TV legend’s rise to fame.

Though it still has a way to go, fans are hoping that the single climbs the remaining 36 places to reach the no. 1 spot as a heartfelt tribute.

The campaign received 200 likes in two hours after it was launched on Sunday and it continues to grow rapidly in popularity by the minute!

‘Anyone Who Had A Heart’ originally topped the charts in 1964, spending three weeks in the top spot. It also became the UK’s biggest selling single for a female artist during the decade.

Will the track be able to reach no. 1 in time for the release of the Official Singles Chart on Friday?

These campaign followers have everything crossed!

The 1983 album, ‘The Very Best of Cilla Black’, has re-entered the midweek Official Album Chart Top 100, as people celebrate the star’s life by remembering her hits.

Cilla had 19 UK Top 40 singles with 11 Top 10 hits during her career, here’s hoping that we can give her the spotlight once again as a final farewell.
