Daft Punk to Appear on 'Colbert Report'

Daft Punk will appear on The Colbert Report next week as part of the show's "Colbchella" concert series, according to MTV. The electronic duo will apparently perform, marking their first TV appearance since they released Random Access Memories in May.

Colbert teased the appearance earlier this week when he showed up on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, dancing his way over to Fallon's desk while "Get Lucky" played over the PA. "I don't know what just happened," Fallon said when it was over.

Last year's "Colbchella" event, dubbed "RocktAugustFest," featured the Flaming Lips, fun., Santigold, and Grizzly Bear. The previous year's iteration, "Rock You Like a Thirst-Icane," included Jack White, Bon Iver, Florence and the Machine and Talib Kweli.
